North Shore Pride Virtual Parade
Time & Location
About the Event
North Shore Pride’s theme for this year is “Uniting Community” and, despite the cancellation of the Parade & Festival, we must do just that. Remember, we are all in this together, and we will get through this together.
And so, we are excited to announce that we’ve been planning an ongoing 2020 Virtual Pride to take place to keep our community engaged and connected throughout the year. These include:
- Zoom-based Networking Events
- Virtual Drag shows and Performances
- A Webinar Speaker Series
- Live Stream Interfaith Service
- A Virtual Pride Parade

Zoom-based Networking Events
Like our networking mixers that would have taken place at various locations around the North Shore in the months leading up to the in-person Pride Parade and Festival, we will be hosting a series of monthly networking events allowing us to virtually connect with others in the community.
Using Zoom or other digital conferencing services, we will set up a small secure conference room where attendees can see each other and interact. These mixers will be moderated by a host.
Virtual Drag Shows and Performances
Technology has given us the ability to bring virtual live performances to you in the comfort of your homes. These live performances will include a lineup of talented performers that you can watch while still following social distancing guidelines.
A Webinar Speaker Series
North Shore Pride will be hosting a series of keynote speakers on our channels to share their experiences, engage with the community, and talk about the things that bring us together. The speakers will be community members from all different backgrounds. The venues will be virtual and each of the events will be followed up by a Q&A session, moderated by North Shore Pride.
Live Stream Interfaith Service
One of the highlights of the North Shore Pride Parade and Festival throughout the year has been the annual Interfaith service in Salem. This year, we will be bringing this service to you virtually through a live stream.
The Interfaith service will bring together more than a dozen North Shore churches, temples, synagogues and spiritual communities to celebrate our shared commitment to the values of community, diversity, and equality for all that drive our 50+ year movement for equality.
