About the Event

For two years one of Boston’s brightest stars of Drag, Coleslaw has continued to sell out performances of the hit series Coleslaw’s Corner in collaboration with the Museum of Science. Utilizing the singular capabilities of the Planetarium, Coleslaw has revolutionized Drag and pushed the boundaries of the fulldome medium to astounding new heights. Now, she brings her unique, hilarious, and magnificent brand of performance art into your homes with a new episode of her new digital series — Coleslaw's Corner: Science in Drag!

Join Coleslaw as she sits down with a different expert, scientist, or researcher each episode to explore, question, and learn about topics of science and technology that shape our world today. Part conversation, part Q&A, with a few games and surprises thrown in, get ready for laughs, fabulousness and creativity at every turn...and you just may learn a thing or two as well!

This episode Coleslaw sits down with Sarah Weiner, Education Associate in Live Presentations and Current Science & Technology at the Museum of Science, to dive into the untold stories in the history of science. Learn about the past you didn’t study in school and meet the underrepresented voices who built the pillars of science. What contributions have women, people of color and the LGBTQ community made to STEM and how have they shaped our world today? Join Coleslaw for this special episode to find out plus so much more!
