About the event
The National Runaway Safeline's (NRS) Youth Advisory Board (YAB), in partnership with the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), is hosting a free virtual retreat, Empowering Youth Voices.  This youth-focused retreat offers young people and those who support them the opportunity to connect and learn through guided topic sessions and open discussions. Expert speakers will share their insight on timely topics facing youth today – including, the emotional toll of the COVID-19 pandemic, taking care of yourself and your friends during difficult times, and professional development in a tough economy.
WHO: Young people ages 12-21 with lived experience with youth homelessness
